Embark on one of the most complete adventures in Galápagos by visiting the amazing Lava Tunnels (Cabo Rosa), where ancient eruptions created natural arches, passages, and pools over the ocean. This site is famous for its marine biodiversity and unique landscapes, perfect for snorkeling and photography.
The tour begins with a boat ride from the Puerto Villamil dock toward the southwest of the island. Along the way, you’ll spot seabirds, turtles, and other wildlife. Upon arrival at the tunnels, you’ll take a walk over the lava formations and then enjoy a snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters.
During snorkeling, you’ll have the chance to swim alongside sea turtles, whitetip reef sharks, rays, seahorses, reef fish, and even sea lions or penguins, depending on the season.
- Morning tour: Departure at 07:00, return around 12:30
- Afternoon tour: Departure at 11:00, return around 16:00
